The Harley Wood School of Astronomy (HWSA) is a school whose purpose is to bring together astronomy students in an informal setting to encourage networking between students, as well as to provide students with important knowledge and skills via a series of talks and workshops. This year the HWSA will be held from 30 June - 3 July 2016, at the Tops Conference Centre, Stanwell Tops.

The theme for this year's HWSA is Seize the Day: Making the Most of your Opportunities. We will hold talks and workshops that emphasise the opportunities available to students and teach them the skills needed to make the most of their time as students.

Registration for the 2016 HWSA is now open! To register, please click the "Registration" button in the top right, and fill in the registration form. Details on the registration fee, and what registration provides can be found on the Registration Details page. Registration will be open until the 10th of June.

Travel assistance is available; please see the Travel Information page for details. Applications for travel assistance are now closed.

The 2016 HWSA is generously sponsored by the Sydney Institute for Astronomy, via the Hunstead Gift, and the School of Physics at the University of Sydney.
